Killed in combat in the vicinity of An Nasiriyah. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine
Expeditionary Brigade, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Died on March 23, 2003 in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Third-generation Marine; grandfather earned Silver Star in Korea; father fought
in Cambodia during Vietnam War and members of the Marine Corps League Detachment 708.
